We believe that all cats deserve to live out their best life, even if that means not being a housecat.

 

When good samaritans bring us stray cats, sometimes they aren't lost house cats but ferals or undersocialized cats that want nothing to do with humans (or very minimal interaction). These cats have either proven that they will not use a litterbox appropriately, react poorly with too much handling, or simply prefer more space from humans than a home can provide. 

 

We are fortunate to live in a community that has a need for barn cats or working cats to be adopted and placed where they are wanted to do what they do best - eco friendly pest control.  

 

Animal Allies Humane Society seeks adopters outside of Duluth city limits with a warm barn, shed, business or other outdoor housing to give this specific type of cat a chance at life.

All barn/working cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and available for $25 each or with our ongoing buddy discount: adopt two for the price of one.
